José Antonio Trejo Robles


 

Toño, whose passion for protecting marine turtles is unmatched, is a full time researcher and professor at DEDSZC, a position he has held for 14 years. He completed his M.S. at the University of Colima and is currently getting his Ph.D. at the University of Guadalajara. Toño has more than 20 years of experience working on marine turtle conservation. He has presented at national and international conferences, published articles in scientific journals, and has hosted may national and international groups of students and volunteers at Univ. of Guad.´s La Gloria research station. Toño is an active member of the International Sea Turtle Society.

When not working diligently at his office, Toño can likely be found in the field directing and participating in sea turtle conservation at La Gloria sea turtle conservation camp.
