TIERRALEGRE PERMACULTURE EDUCATION CENTER LOCATION

The location of the Tierralegre´s Permaculture Education Center is an agricultural zone measuring 5,000 square meters located on the east side of Highway 200 Puerto Vallarta-Melaque between km. 16 and 17, about 3 km. to the north of the entrance to the community of La Manzanilla, Jalisco.  The land was donated to Tierralege by a member of La Manzanilla Ejido.  It has been officially parceled by the municipality of La Huerta and is in the process of being privatized and receiving title.  The Center is abutted by productive agricultural land to the west, much of which is available to be leased for future projects, and tropical deciduous forest on all other sides where a future interpretive trail will be built, and where the project will have room to eventually expand.
